KifuBox

KifuBox is an iPhone/iPad app for managing and reviewing transcripts of reversi game.

I hope that you input transcripts of online or real tournament games, and that you improve your skills in reversi!

1. You can easily input/manage transcripts like mail or memo apps.
2. Shows score and graphs by Edax that is said to be the strongest reversi software.
3. Showing stats of inputed transcripts, you can see which openings you are good/bad at.
4. You can easily input openings and test your memorization.

KifuBox is available for free, but free edition has the following restrictions:

• You can create up to 10 transcripts per folder, and up to 2 transcript folders (including default folder).
• You can create up to 10 openings per folder, and up to 2 opening folders (not including default folder). You cannot create subfolders.
• Scores are not shown after move #40 in quick analysis.
• You cannot use batch import of transcripts.
• Displays “Free edition” caption in transcript list, quick analysis and in AR camera screen.
• You cannot use backup/restore within the app.

To cancel these restrictions, purchase unlimited edition! (Be care that quality of AR recognition is the same between both editions.)

• You cannot play game with KifuBox. Play games with other apps, and import transcript into KifuBox!
• In case that you use KifuBox in real tournament, be care of manners. Using electronic devices is usually prohibited during tournament. Some players don't feel comfortable that audience use apps.

• The app accesses to camera. Photos app takes are used only to capture board/transcript and are not saved nor sent outside of the device.
• The app accesses to photo libraries. Photo app imports are used only to capture board and are not saved nor sent outside of the device. When you select “Save Image” in screenshot sharing feature of this app, the screenshot is saved in photo libraries.
• Transcripts you input are saved in the device. They are not sent outside of the device.
• When you import game transcript from Othello Quest, user name and game ID are sent to the Othello Quest Server.
• When you batch-import game transcripts from CSV file on cloud, the app accesses the file on the cloud.

• KifuBox uses modified version of Edax4.4 by Richard Delorme, GPLv3 software. Modified source code is available in https://github.com/lavox/edax-reversi/releases/tag/libEdax4i-1.3.
